Oh boy, you're tugging at my heart strings with this topic. I went through a phase where I was all about anything from the Motown/Stax records days. Otis Redding was the man I always wanted to be, and Sam Cooke seemed untouchable. This phase never completely wore off and I doubt it ever will.
For the record, my fav Cooke song is "Good Times." Puts me in a good mood every time.
