Birthdays, which are even better when they belong to one of your best friends.
Also, heart cakes and Valentine's Day, which I actually love.
And finally, snagging the She & Him CD from the aforementioned best friend.
Friends are good like that; they listen to your whining and know you love music as much as they do.
(And of course, more job applications, but who wants to hear about those?)
